As part of our Sustainability Strategy we have the pillar Our People with the objective of promoting the integral development of our collaborators. This pillar, formed by 3 action areas and 5 focus topics, integrates the actions of our Culture and Values, the Training and Development of our collaborators including Occupational Health and Safety, their compensation and the Integral Development inside and outside of the company, for every one of our collaborators and their families. 

In order to be the best place to work we are committed with the integral development of our people, talent management and the protection of human rights, always aligned with our culture and values, for more than 120,000 collaborators and their families in the 10 countries where we operate. 

Committed to the Planet

  • Water Watchers has benefited since 2009 more than 57,596 students from 56 public schools in Costa Rica and has allowed savings over 325 million liters of water.

  • Let’s Play has trained more than 1,000 teachers and donated sports equipment to more than 630 public schools to impact with sports activities to over 285,000 students in Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Panama. 

  • Water for the Future will develop forest conservation and reforestation activities in 1,324 hectares in various watersheds with the purpose of reaching the replacement of about 2.2 million cubic meters of water in the next two years.

  • In Nicaragua, Eco-Schools has directly benefited 3,581 students and 120 teachers as well as impacting indirectly more than 5,000 people related to student’s family and teachers.

  • The Coca-Cola System supports the program A Plate, A Smile which since 2005 and to date has benefited 99,599 children in 402 schools with children diners.

        The PET Plant Bottle is a bottle made from the combination of traditional PET and materials extracted from plants. These bottles reduce dependence of non-renewable resources like oil; they are completely recyclable and help reduce the carbon footprint.
